Purchases through my Foster the Wild fundraising shop support my son's future fund. Each listing shows the amount from that item that goes to the fundraiser (half the price on the gifts below), not the full purchase price.
Small gifts for gardeners, bird lovers, and anyone who appreciates something a little different.

I've already shared the amaryllis and paperwhites available through my Foster the Wild holiday fundraiser, but there are quite a few other things in the shop worth looking at.
Plantable gift tags, wildflower seed bombs, a birdseed bell, and even reusable holiday dishcloths. Some make nice stocking stuffers, while others are useful long after Christmas.
And every purchase helps support something important to me—my son's future.
I'm putting the money raised through this fundraiser toward his savings, whether that's for school, his first car, or whatever he decides to pursue down the road.
Here's a look at a few of the smaller gifts available this season.

Gifts that can grow into something

Wildflower Seed Bombs — $24
These come in a small gift box with four seed bombs made from natural materials and a mix of wildflower seeds.
They're a fun gift for someone who enjoys gardening or wants to try growing flowers without starting with an entire garden project.
The idea is simple: plant them in a suitable spot, water them, and see what grows when the season is right.
One thing worth checking is the actual seed mix. The listing mentions ten wildflower varieties but doesn't identify them all. Check the species before planting, particularly if you're using them outdoors rather than in a container.

Plantable Holiday Gift Tags — $22
I like the idea behind these. Instead of throwing away the gift tag after opening a present, you can save it and plant it later.
The set includes eight round seed-paper tags with holiday designs, including Christmas trees, holly, deer, and a red truck carrying a tree.
They come with red strings, so they're ready to attach to gifts.

Wildflower Butterfly Seed Ornament — $15
This one works as an ornament first and a planting project later.
It's made from recycled cotton fiber with pressed flowers and embedded wildflower seeds.
Hang it during the holidays, then plant it when you're ready, following the instructions and checking that the seeds are suitable for your area.
These are nice alternatives if you're looking for a small gift that offers something to do after the holidays.
Something for the backyard birds

All Season Birdseed Bell — $15
For someone who enjoys watching birds, this is another option.
The hanging bell contains a blend of seeds, nuts, and dried fruit, including sunflower seeds, safflower, peanuts, and pecans.
It can hang from an appropriate outdoor feeder hook, giving visiting birds another food source.
Pair it with a simple birdwatching notebook, and it could make a thoughtful gift for someone who enjoys spending time outside or watching wildlife from the kitchen window.
A practical little gift for the kitchen

Swedish Dishcloth Holiday Set — $15
Not everything in the shop is meant for the garden.
This set comes with two reusable dishcloths—one with Christmas trees and one with gnomes—plus a clip for hanging them to dry.
They're washable, reusable, and make a practical addition to a small holiday gift basket.
These would work well for teachers, neighbors, coworkers, or a host gift. Something festive that will actually get used.
One more thing for the flower lovers

If you're already ordering an amaryllis kit, the shop also has a three-pack of support stakes.
Amaryllis flowers can get top-heavy as they bloom, and the stakes help support the stalks.
They're a useful addition to a flower bulb gift, especially for someone growing amaryllis indoors for the first time.
You can find more growing tips in A Little Winter Magic Starts With a Bulb.

Ordering through my fundraiser
The holiday collection is available through my Foster the Wild shop at Flower Power Fundraising.
The campaign information lists shipping beginning in mid-November, with December 1 recommended for holiday gift orders. Shipping is listed at a flat $9.95, but check the shop for current terms and delivery estimates. Right now, orders over $39 ship free with code SHIP39, and the shop doesn't ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
I started this fundraiser as another way to build savings for my son and give him more opportunities as he grows up.
If you're already shopping for holiday gifts, I'd appreciate you considering something from the collection. And if nothing catches your eye, sharing the fundraiser with friends or family who enjoy gardening is helpful, too.
